Our club's 3-Day-Event Team supports equestrian student-athletes at UC Davis who compete at nationally-recognized events. Because this team is not affiliated with UC Davis Athletics ICA team, we raise money each to offset the costs of team training and travel. The team provides community and support in a mentally and physically demanding sport. Eventing is a unique sport that comes with its own set of challenges. The equivalent of equestrian triathlon eventing is comprised of three phases. Each test harmony, accuracy, endurance and tenacity. Men and women compete as equals and eventing is popular all over the world including highly anticipated and competitive Olympic games. The UC Davis Event Team is one of the founders of Intercollegiate Eventing in the western states. Intercollegiate Eventing is a program under the United States Eventing Association designed to bring together students from different colleges/universities to compete in teams against other schools. Our goal is to advertise and help other schools start eventing teams and join the program so that we can have a league championship in the western states. Eventers at UC Davis are enthusiastic to help bring the sport to other schools and committed to working to be the best riders, horsemen, and people they can be. Supporting our fund is a great way for your family, workplace, school, or community organization to make it possible for high achieving athletes to continue competing through college as well as a great way to become involved in a highly competitive and challenging sport.
About the fund: Your donations and gifts will help support members with their goals of growing and competing throughout their collegiate careers. Our team focuses on making eventing possible for those new to the sport, returning to the sport or competing at high levels. Our goal is to expand our competitive field to competitions outside California so that we can recruit other schools to join the Intercollegiate Eventing program. Funds go towards supporting our riders by offsetting the cost of showing and travel. Due to the nature of Eventing our community creates well-rounded, tenacious, confident, and determined riders, these characteristics extend outside of the show ring and benefit our members in the classroom and in their everyday lives as well as providing a much-needed outlet in college.
About your donation: Your donation will support the activities of the UC Davis Event Equestrian Club, such as covering various show fees and travel expenses. This will make it feasible for our team to expand the Intercollegiate Eventing program around the western states, and allow college student-athletes to continue to be competitive throughout California and beyond. We ask for your support in helping us continue to thrive as a driving intercollegiate force in California.

This gift will cover restocking our Equine First Aid Kid including bandages, gauze, equine "icy hot", betadine, antibiotic ointment, and more. Horses are accident prone so we have to restock frequently. We will give you a personalized shout out on our social media platforms
This gift will completely cover one of our riders stabling fees at a show. We will send you a personalized thank you video and give you a personalized shout out on social media platforms.
