Crowdfund UC Davis thanks all of the donors who gave to this important project in February. This campaign has closed, but you can still support us by making a donation.
The University Rover Challenge (URC) is the world's premier robotics competition for college students. URC challenges student teams to design and build the next generation of Mars rovers that will one day work alongside astronauts exploring the Red Planet.
With the aim of competing, we have formed an organization of over 65 students of UC Davis from various backgrounds and majors. We have 8 sub-teams: artificial intelligence, business, communications and control, dynamics, robotics, scientific exploration, structures, and suspensions/stability. We have created learning opportunities for students outside of the classroom and enhance their undergraduate experience. Each student is able to improve on the skills they need for their separate careers as well as creativity, professionalism, teamwork and more.
We appreciate that UC Davis provides us with resources like labs, computers, books, and our faculty advisors and gives us a platform where we were able to come together and meet new people. Our project exists for science and learning opportunities. Keeping these aims in mind, we hope you will consider giving a gift towards our fund to support RoveCrest and share our page with your family, friends, and colleagues through social media platforms.
