Champions Adapt: A Seven Day Giving Challenge

We hope this letter find you and your family safe and healthy during these unprecedented times of 2020. The challenges we are facing will test our strength, our unity, and our resolve – I have no doubt that Aggie Pride will prevail – CHAMPIONS ADAPT!

Thru the course of history, every monumental advancement in any winning organization occurs as a result of overcoming adversity. Soon we will be back to normal, soon we will be competing again, and soon we will show our competition what a comeback from a setback looks like.

As a valuable member of our team, your contributions to our CHAMPIONS ADAPT CHALLENGE (#ChampionsAdapt2020) will allow us to emerge from our quarantine in championship form.

The week of October 12-18 was scheduled to be Homecoming week on campus, one that brings alumni back, old traditions out, and a full slate of home athletics events. With the loss of traditional revenue streams this year from associated events, we are forced to adapt to generate support for our program. Instead of pep rallies and tailgating, we will be on our phones, our email, and on social media spreading the word about the Champions Adapt Challenge.

Men’s basketball seeks your financial support, and we have set a fundraising goal to achieve during this week-long effort. Please join us as we adapt to the opportunity presented to us to improve thru adversity, where we can position ourselves to be champions. Your gift during this campaign will make a world of difference today to set us up for when we do return to the Pavilion. Every dollar contributed to the Aggie Round Table will go directly and exclusively towards UC Davis men’s basketball.
