Champions Adapt: A Seven Day Giving Challenge

The fall in Davis is traditionally a time of incredible anticipation, renewed feelings of energy for the coming year, and sights and sounds of athletics activities all over our campus. However, in 2020, these traditions have been put on hold as we, along with the rest of our peers, prepare for the return of normal activity on our college campus.

Like the generations of Aggies who have come before us, we are looking for opportunities in this challenge we currently face. We refuse to be still during this break, and we choose to do what champions would…we will adapt. The Champions Adapt Challenge (#ChampionsAdapt2020) is all about maximizing our potential and sprinting out of the gates when competition resumes. Like all champions, we know this will be a team effort, and you can be a big part of our team.

The week of October 12-18 was scheduled to be Homecoming week on campus, one that brings alumni back, old traditions out, and a full slate of home athletics events. With the loss of traditional revenue streams this year from associated events, we are forced to adapt to generate support for our program. Instead of pep rallies and tailgating, we will be on our phones, our email, and on social media spreading the word about the Champions Adapt Challenge.
