A commitment to sustaining Women's Rowing through funding a team ENDOWMENT! Founded in 1977, the UC Davis Women's Rowing program has been teaching women about rowing, teamwork, responsibility, commitment, competition and success. Open to all UC Davis students who are interested in trying the sport, (even for the first time!), the program creates a community and life-long friendships, but also has competed successfully against Pac-12 and division 1 schools. Generous alumni, family and friends of the team have come together with a goal of creating an endowment which will provide an annual 4% payout in perpetuity to support for equipment, travel, and other expenses, while the principle will be invested by the university to grow. The team is currently funded through athlete dues and generous donations, but oftentimes, these are not enough to cover all of the program's yearly expenses. Funding an endowment will allow future generations of aggies to have access to this transformative experience. We are already more then halfway towards our goal of endowing this fund by raising $50,000! Please help us meet our goal! Thank you in advance for your donation to fund our future!
