With just under one week left, we have hit our stretch goal! We are excited to reach even further, and hope to raise an additional $500, for a total of $5500, by the end of the month! This additional funding will cover the cost of organizational equipment like clothing racks and storage bins as well as maintenance costs like laundry services and gear repairs. This will ensure that the equipment is properly cared for and will maximize our impact over time. Thank you for all of your support!

As we approach our stretch goal, we wanted to share some of the ways additional funding will further support the program. Because of this extra funding, we can not only outfit more students but also purchase organizational supplies (clothing racks and storage bins, for example) and cover costs of gear maintenance like laundry and repairs. We are rapidly approaching our stretch goal going into this weekend! This is very exciting, as additional support allows us to provide more equipment to more students! I (Elaine) will be a TA (teaching assistant) for our spring field class, which has 3 multi-day field trips with camping. For some students, this is the first time they will go camping. I am so thrilled that we can offer high quality equipment for them to use so they feel prepared and can focus on learning. The photo below is from a spring field trip in 2019.

We are blown away by the support and generosity our program has received so far! With your help we have passed our original goal of $2500 and are now aiming higher.

We set a new stretch goal of $5000, which will allow us to double our impact and outfit 10 students - about 1/3 of a typical field class!
