Boasting outstanding facilities and featuring experienced recreation professionals at UC Davis, Youth Programs, such as a campership program, offers a diverse range of high quality camps, classes, field trips, and swimming lessons for youth up to age 18. At UC Davis, nearly 400 students have taken advantage of childcare grants through the Child and Family Care Advisory Committee. For many of these students, Campus Rec Youth Programs are financially out of reach. Summer Day Camps are beneficial for youth to be connected with the campus and for students (parents) to be able to attend summer sessions or work. Due to the financial cost of attending Youth Programs, many are unable to afford these necessary programs.
ABOUT THE FUND
Funding would establish a campership program for UC Davis students to be able to send their dependents to camp while they attend class, study and/or work. Throughout the summer, these individuals would be able to rest assured that their young ones receive the best possible child care at nearby premises. Youth Programs, such as a campership program, would continue to be a safe, enjoyable, and resourceful outlet for the UC Davis community’s youth to thrive in.
ABOUT YOUR DONATION
Your donation will allow dependents of more student parents to participate in Youth Programs, such as a campership program. Your contribution to this organization will prove to have long-lasting insp- memories only a summer camp may be able to provide. The generosity of this donation will help student parents achieve their goals to provide the best quality of life to their children and succeed in their education.
Parents often purchase extra camp shirts and swim shirts for their kids. Your $25 donation will allow a camper to have another shirt to wear as well as protect them from the sun in the pool. Contribute $25
Often parents need extra time in the morning to get to work or class, early drop-off is an additional charge for parent needing the extra time. Contribute $50
Some parents need care beyond the 3pm time. Afternoon Adventures is our extended care program at the amazing Rec Pool facility. Contribute $100
Your $250 donation will cover the cost of our general recreation camps for our youngest campers. Contribute $250
Your $500 donation will cover the cost of two siblings to attend camps. Contribute $500
Some of our student parents need multiple weeks to attend classes or labs. Your $1000 donation will help a student send their child to camp for multiple weeks.
