Were you a community college transfer student? Maybe someone in your family was. Transferring to a 4-year institution is often seen as a way to save time and resources but that is not the reality for many students who end up accruing more years to degree and student debt.
AveB provides the resources, information and prep work to make sure students at the community college level know what classes to take, how to transfer and work through the applications and paperwork and when they arrive at UC Davis they aren’t just surviving but thriving.

Provides a student support services such as an hour of tutoring services, an emergency stiped or participation in a community building activity.
Help supplement the cost of a students’ professional development by covering a conference fee, part of their travel or a professional/academic membership.
You just helped one student participate in a critical activity such as peer advising training session or a graduate school preparatory session or the coveted Industry Day.
You’ve created a stipend-based opportunity for a student, like a research experience in a lab, fieldwork with a faculty mentor or another co-curricular experience, that would have been otherwise unattainable.
