The Champions Achieve Challenge

The Aggies are back!   After a year of uncertainty, unavoidable changes, and unrelenting anticipation, we are returning to competition and our typical start of the academic year. To aid us in our effort to come back in peak form, we present the Champions Achieve Challenge – a call for ALL Aggies to come together with a single purpose – Champion Achievement in ’21-’22.

Achievement is defined by three main components: skill, effort, and courage

Our student-athletes are skilled beyond belief. They navigate the daily challenges of practice, conditioning, studying, and preparing to compete at the highest possible level. They have dedicated years to their sport and their abilities shine through. 

One thing we know for sure is that effort and attitude is what makes the difference between a good and great program. Our team trains for the biggest moments and pushes through challenges with maximum efforts and great attitudes. Like the generations of Aggies who came before them, they recognize the advantage of optimum efforts and positive attitudes, both in competition and in their pursuit of a degree.

Most programs across the country exhibit skill and effort, but our team’s courage is what sets them apart from the rest. Over the past 18 months, I have witnessed an unmatched level of courage and determination. Our team has pushed through the most challenging circumstances and stands ready to get back this year.

Our program seeks your financial support now, and we have set a goal – to receive a donation from (50) donors during the challenge (September 14-18). Your gift in support of Women’s Basketball during this challenge will make a world of difference. Your generous contribution will go towards supporting UC Davis Women’s Basketball.

Our top priorities include:

• Saving for an international tournament and tour
• Additional Team Room upgrades
• Equipment and technology needs for both recovery and practice enhancement
