DESCRIPTION
Cal Aggie Camp is an inspiring local organization serving youth between ages six and seventeen within California’s foster care system. This summer, we are restoring tradition by offering TWO weeks of camp. In order to celebrate our 61st anniversary safely, we need your help to ensure all of our activities and facilities are equipped with the proper infrastructure and sanitation supplies to protect our campers and staff.
ABOUT THE FUND
Over the last sixty years, undergraduate students at UC Davis have organized and operated this residential summer camp dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience for our community’s foster youth. Cal Aggie Camp provides a fun and stress-free environment for our campers to enjoy nature and bond with peers in similar personal circumstances, far removed from their often difficult day-to-day realities.
ABOUT YOUR DONATION
Cal Aggie Camp has always been free to the foster families served each summer, due in large part to the generosity of folks like you!
Please mail checks payable to UC Regents and mail to:
Student Affairs
University of California, Davis
One Shields Avenue
476 Mrak Hall
Davis, CA 95616
Please write “Cal Aggie Camp” in the memo section of the check.
Help us stock masks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, water bottles, hand sanitizer, and more for the campers who need them.
Reliable cellular service in the great outdoors can be hard to find, so walkie talkies will help improve our staff communication during the weeks of camp.
Every camper receives a white Cal Aggie Camp t-shirt and they personalize with tie dye. Donations pay for shirts, dye, and so many rubber bands.
Keep Cal Aggie Camp free for the foster youth we serve! Assists with transportation costs and meals.
Help elevate our annual carnival for a special celebration of 61 years of Cal Aggie Camp! This provides over-the-top activities such as water slides, classic carnival games, prizes, and food trucks.
Renting an entire campground for two weeks is expensive, and it’s worth every penny to connect our campers with nature.
