Energy and Efficiency Institute 15th Anniversary Campaign

As we reflect on the last 15 years, we think about what we have accomplished and what we still have yet to do. Together we’ve built a network of mission-driven scholars, innovators, and changemakers. And, if we pay it forward, we can do even more to make an impact over the next 15 years and beyond. Our alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of the Institute are excited about building a culture of giving back, and encouraging even more participation in giving and engagement with the Institute. 

Please support the Energy Innovation Fund in honor of our anniversary! Conversations with our community have identified the following three areas as our top funding priorities. Help us make a difference by making a gift today:

1. Environmental Justice and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives: EEI seeks increased and deepened engagement and partnership with environmental justice communities, significant upgrades to its curriculum, and outreach initiatives to ensure the most marginalized communities are authentically engaged, thereby ensuring no one is left behind as we transition to a cleaner economy.
2. Emerging Energy Professionals (EEP) Program: EEP provides UC Davis alumni-student mentorship via one-on-one and small group meetings, career counseling opportunities, internship/career assistance, exposure to key energy issues/organizations, and opportunities to stay connected after graduation.
3. Energy Graduate Group (EGG) Support: EGG is designed to meet the world’s growing need for highly qualified, thoughtful and dedicated leaders in sustainable energy systems. This is accomplished through a number of programs, and donations can help us provide support to attract and retain talented students.
