Thanks to 34 wonderful donors we made our initial crowdfunding goal AND our stretch goal! Now we will be able to unlock the matching fund pledged by a generous CalTeach/MAST alum. But it is not too late to join the crowdfunding effort! Any additional funds raised will go to next year's awards.

Announcing a matching fund opportunity to our wonderfully supportive community!

We have been given a great opportunity to double the awards we were initially planning to give to two STEM majors! A donor who is a CalTeach/MAST alum has graciously agreed to sponsor an additional award for a math major if we can raise another $2000.

This means we have been given a challenge: if 20 donors give at least $100, we can unlock a generous gift from this donor who prefers to remain anonymous. Reaching this goal will provide four students with awards (two math and two science/engineering) of $2,000 each — it will double our awards and double the benefits to these future educators!

We are happily overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for our project. With the help of 17 donors, we have met and exceeded our goal of raising enough funds to give two Future STEM Educator Awards. Thank you so much!
