The UC Davis Health and UC Davis Campus Staff Emergency Fund aid staff members in times of unforeseen financial hardship, with grants of up to $1,000.
215 Health staff and 100 Campus staff and their families benefitted from generous donations to Crowdfunding Campaigns since 2020. Now we need your to help replenish the funds. Please donate today so we can support more of our staff through unexpected financial hardships.
The pandemic, wildfires and other unforeseen personal events have placed additional financial hardship on many of our colleagues. The Staff Emergency Fund can help these employees. Grants are typically provided to a staff member whose income cannot cover their needs, or the employee has experienced a loss of wages through no fault of their own. Grants can be used to help with past due utilities, housing, food, additional dependent care costs or transportation. Assistance can also be provided when employees with limited resources are faced with expenses related to the death of an immediate family member, uncovered medical and dental expenses or a change in their family situation.
