Crowdfund UC Davis thanks all of the donors who gave to this important project in February. This campaign has closed, but you can still support our program by making a donation here.
Hello to all our wonderful donors,
We would like to give you an update on the Murals for Mental Health fundraising efforts in partnership with Aggie Mental Health from last Spring.
1. We have identified a new prominent location that is protected from weather and vandalism in the ASUCD Coffee House a.k.a. CoHo that will be seen by thousands of students everyday (see photo for location)
2. We are currently running a contest through October 6th for students to submit portfolio work to be considered for the job. To view the contest and learn more about it, please visit: https://mentalhealth.ucdavis.edu/contest
3. We hope to have the mural installed by end of calendar year with an unveiling early next year.
Again, we appreciate all your support for the UC Davis Student Foundation Senior Class Challenge: Murals for Mental Health!
Thank you!
The UC Davis Student Foundation trustees
p.s. Make sure to be on the look out for next our crowdfund effort launching October 1st supporting the Student Emergency Relief Aid (SERA) award!

We have recently identified the location for the Senior Class Challenge: Murals for Mental Health - Sprocket bike/pedestrian tunnel! This underpass has thousands of students passing through every.single.day. It is located near the freshmen dorms, Cuarto, and connect students under the intersection for the ARC and the University Credit Union Center (formerly the Pavilion). The tunnel also helps connect students living in the west Davis community to the rest of campus. With such a visible area, we hope to bring awareness around the subject of mental health and help make sure our fellow aggies know that they are not alone. Help us leave a legacy on campus by donating $20.23 today! Go AGS!
A gift of $5 will make a positive impact for mental health on our campus. Every gift makes a difference!
We challenge the graduating Class of 2023 to make a gift that honors this major milestone, while supporting mental health initiatives at UC Davis. This level of support will help purchase supplies for a public art installation to be completed in 2023.
A 2018 London-based survey found that 84% of respondents believed participating in public art projects benefited their well-being (Cheung et al.). A gift of $50 will provide additional avenues for mental health assistance on campus. You will receive a social media shout-out from the Student Foundation.
A gift at this level will support the completion of a public art collaboration on campus, which facilitates and normalizes discussion of mental health. As a special form of appreciation, you will receive a handwritten thank-you note from the UC Davis Student Foundation Board.
