Crowdfund UC Davis thanks all of the donors who gave to this important project in February. This campaign has closed, but you can still support our program by making a donation.
We had an 8-point jump yesterday to almost 60% of our goal. In the final hours your donation can still make a difference. Please share widely if you have already donated, or donate today if you haven't. Every little bit helps!
UC Davis | Students in the Wild!
California’s water-limited woodlands are an ideal ecosystem in which to study the relationship of CO2 fertilization and water stress. Will elevated CO2 decrease drought stress in California’s oak seedlings? If so, by what mechanism? How will those effects vary by species? Paige Kouba conducts an empirical study of first-year tree seedlings under full-factorial treatments of elevated CO2 (eCO2) and drought.
The UC Davis Natural Reserve team are excited to spread the word of our fundraising effort supporting scholarships for wildlands student research. Investing in the next generation of environmental leaders and scientists is meaningful, lasting, and impactful. Please share our campaign if you'd like to help us meet our goals.
