Aggies Helping Aggies, UC Davis's official Student Foundation, aims to promote awareness and resources for philanthropy on campus, with an emphasis on the importance of giving and the impact it has on the community.
This October, we are raising funds for Student Emergency Relief Aid (SERA) to support Aggies in need. SERA provides a one-time award up to $2,000 to current students facing financial stressors, including unexpected medical bills (i.e., wisdom teeth and emergency room costs), rent (i.e. eviction notices and assistance for unhoused Aggies) and more. Since our inception in 2011, SERA has helped over 310 students through their difficulties and allows them to concentrate on school not unexpected bills.

"Circumstances caused me to take custody of my younger sister. To support both of us, I was going to have to take a full-time job and drop out of school. Because of SERA, I was able to continue my education and finish my senior year while providing for my family."
