NEW STRETCH GOAL SET: $7,000
We have had such a wonderful response to our campaign and met our initial goal so quickly, we are going to create a stretch goal of $7,000 so we can support more students. Your gift to the UC Davis Annual Fund or Parents Fund today allows the Chancellor to fund the university’s greatest needs, including giving deserving students the support they need to attend college and pursue meaningful careers. Thank you for supporting our students!
Awarded to high-achieving, first-generation students from California, Chancellor’s Achievement Award scholarships ease the financial burden on students from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling them to focus on their studies and acclimate to a demanding university setting.
These scholarships have made an important difference to hundreds of deserving students like Mai Mai ’23 (pictured below). She is a Nutritional Sciences and International Relations double major who hopes to better understand the role of nutrition in health, and how public policy affects access to healthy food around the world.
Recipients can use their scholarships to to purchase much needed lab materials.
Scholarship recipients can focus solely on academics, and worry less about covering living expenses.
