Help us build a unique and fun series of educational videos portraying Superheroes and their extraordinary powers! Inspired by the undivided attention that youth show superheroes movies, and the excitement of making those fantastic imaginary worlds a reality, we created the Engineering Superheroes Initiative targeting students at K-12th grades.
Due to the pandemic, parents and schools need help developing engaging and useful online educational tools. We propose a series of professionally produced videos that will engage and inspire a new generation of highly motivated engineers by exploring superheroes’ technologies and powers.
The videos will introduce the superhero powers/tech and will be followed by the question, “How can we make this happen?” Basic STEM concepts will then be introduced in an activity to be performed by the learner. The video will introduce a list of supplies needed for each project. Our goal is to deliver those supplies to schools and learners in need. The series of videos will be made available to stream or download free of charge!
