Crowdfund UC Davis thanks all of the donors who gave to this important project in October. This campaign has closed, but you can still support us by making a donation.
The UC Davis Student Farm is a 23-acre educational working farm where students receive practical, hands-on experience in organic farming and gardening, sustainable agriculture, research and leadership. The Student Farm manages, produces and harvests over 50 different crops all year long which supports UC Davis students and families that are experiencing food insecurity by donating organic vegetables every week, all grown by students in the middle of campus.
Your gift to the Student Farm will support our program, including ensuring that the Student Farm can hire a Lead Student Farmer to manage donated boxes and fill them with culturally diverse produce and fresh fruit from our Ecological Garden. This will contribute to the Student Farm’s goal of donating 10,000 lbs of produce annually to feed roughly 40 students for the year.
Gifts of all size matter and we thank you for your support in giving generously what you can.
AMF are some of the soil micro-organisms that help bring soil to life and help plants access nutrients. Together this web of life ensures that we have access to food. Every gift of $5 will help us get to our project goal and ensure that more students have access to food!
