The Center for Neuroengineering & Medicine at UC Davis is a highly interdisciplinary research center, that brings together faculty and students from engineering, neurosciences, and medicine, among other fields, to solve challenges in neurological disorders and even expand human capacities.
The Crowdfund project will help us raise funds for undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships for outstanding undergraduate or graduate student scholars and researchers who are currently participating in research under the guidance of a Primary Investigator or faculty member affiliated with the Neuroengineering & Medicine Center.
We believe that donors want to support deserving students in neuroengineering because their investments will contribute to an educated workforce that will tackle scientific and societal challenges ahead. No one succeeds alone - each of us received help at one point or another, be it financial, mentorship, encouragement, or professional recommendations. Donor contributions will be further amplified as the Center faculty will mentor scholarship recipients and guide them in their education.
