Please support the Marchand Public Engagement Fund, including our current project to create a teacher training workshop to implement a curriculum project about Cruz Reynoso, the first Latino Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court. Your gift will support a Teacher Institute that will train K-12 teachers to implement primary source sets about Reynoso's life and legacy.
The Marchand Public Engagement Initiative helped launch an exhibit about Cruz Reynoso, the first Latino Associate Justice of the California Supreme Court. The Initiative is developing a K-12 curriculum project to help teachers connect primary sources to the scope and sequence of public education in CA. This Crowdfunding campaign will support a teacher training workshop so that educators can learn about the academic and pedagogical significance of Reynoso and provide for the curriculum's implementation.
