As we begin our road to Ocala (NCEA National Championships), we want to take a moment to recognize ALL of our Equestrian Athletes. We are so excited about our team of incredible student-athletes, but also want to take this opportunity to show our appreciation for the 4-legged athletes that make this sport possible. This year, during our Champions Achieve Challenge, we look to enhance our success as a program by bringing awareness to the variety of needs of our (currently) 27 wonderful horses.
We are fortunate to have access to the top vet school in the nation, helping us maintain the very best care for our horses! Additionally, there are a few items that we would love to be able to provide for our horses. Equine wellness items such as a Bemer Blanket, a TheraPlate, and eventually a Hot Walker will help our horses feel their best. For more individualized items, each horse has their own sheet and blanket, halter, boots, and ice boots, so contributions of any level will help replace individual items, or work toward the larger wellness items listed above.
Keeping our horses feeling their very best will enable our student athletes to ACHIEVE their goals in this exciting upcoming season! Words cannot express how much we appreciate your support in meeting our goals for our horses, our riders, and UC Davis.
