Thank you so much to all those that have donated to LSA's Basic Needs Crowdfunding! We appreciate your commitment to King Hall students and your contribution to helping us succeed as law students and future lawyers. The funds will help us continue providing non-perishable items for our community food pantry, purchase books shelves for the book borrowing program, and expand our professional clothes closet. Dozens of students benefit from these resources and your donations will help us further expand and institutionalize these initiatives. We are so grateful to you!

NEW STRETCH GOAL OF $10,000!
Did you know 26% of UC Davis graduate/professional students experience some level of food insecurity? Did you know 31% of King Hall’s incoming class comes from an economically disadvantaged background? The Law Students Association created a fund to support basic needs initiatives for current King Hall students. We’re looking to raise $2,500 to help sustain crucial student-led programs such as the food pantry, clothes closet and book-exchange program. Help us meet these basic needs with a monetary donation.
Students spend long days and nights at King Hall studying to earn their law degrees. Our goal is to raise enough money to fill our food pantry, located in the student lounge, throughout the 2023-2024 academic year with a variety of non-perishable items for students to access at any time. The clothes closet allows students to borrow interview- and internship-appropriate clothing (we strive to collect a variety of sizes to be as inclusive as possible). Lastly, the book exchange needs a storage unit to assist in our efforts to reuse course books where possible.
All our efforts at LSA are to help fellow students and ensure everyone at King Hall is thriving. Thank you for supporting our cause!
