The UC Davis Firefighters Burn Institute Regional Burn Center is a Center of Excellence that unites the exceptional surgical, critical care, and rehabilitation resources of UC Davis Health to care for the unique needs of adult burn patients. The Burn Center admitted over 550 patients last year and saw 1,500 patients in the burn outpatient clinic.

What makes us unique
The Burn Center conducts research aimed at improving patient outcomes, leads community outreach to support burn survivors, and provides education to reduce burn injuries.
Teamwork is imperative for a healthy work environment. Patients, families, nurses, and other health care professionals work as a team.
We collaborate with the Firefighters Burn Institute to provide assistance and emotional support to firefighters as well as their families and departments in the aftermath of a burn injury. Contributions provide general support for the Burn Center.
Give a “share” to show you care. A Little Can go a Long Way
Your gift of $20 will pay for a 24-hour parking permit. This will allow family members to be present and provide emotional support to the patient. Every gift makes a difference!
Your generous gift of $50 will pay for a meal voucher. This can help relieve some of our patients loved ones stress and allow them to care for themselves.
Your gift of $75 will be used towards purchasing gas cards for a patient's family's. As a regional burn center our patients families are not always close. This donation will allow loved ones to travel to and from the hospital with out an added financial stress.
Your gift of $200 will pay four nights at the Kiwanis house. This is a housing option run by the Kiwanis Organization, for families who come from out of the area.
Your gift of $500 will go to families who need assistance with housing, gas, and meals.
