Support the Cyclone Robosub Fund!

Cyclone RoboSub was founded in 2023 with the mission of creating an encouraging environment for UC Davis students to explore robotics and hone their engineering skills in a hands-on setting. We are the only robotics-focused design team on campus, and we believe that every UC Davis student should get an opportunity to explore the field of robotics, an  integral part of the engineering landscape.

Cyclone RoboSub aims to serve students of all experience levels. Since the team's launch five months ago, we are already supporting over 35 active members! Our subteams are busy at work designing and manufacturing the propulsion, navigation, and manipulation systems of our first competition robot. In time, we hope to deploy our vehicle in research settings to collect environmental data and support university research.

By supporting our project, you are making an investment in the engineers of tomorrow by providing them with the resources to go above and beyond classroom curriculum. Donations benefit our general support fund and will assist our current goals of purchasing components and materials for our 2024 competition vehicle. Items needed include cameras, processors, stock material, and underwater thrusters. Your support allows us to be ambitious with our designs, enabling us to be competitive and represent the UC Davis community as we compete against 40 other teams at the 2024 competition in Irvine, CA.
