Crowdfund UC Davis thanks all of the donors who gave to this important project in February. This campaign has closed, but we are grateful for your support!
Thank you to everyone who has donated thus far! We are happy to announce that Restoring Vision in Dogs Blind with SARDS has reached our initial goal of $10,000 with 3 days still left of crowdfunding. This will allow us to begin this clinical trial this autumn once the preliminary studies and ethical approvals are complete. Due to the amount of support we have been receiving, we have raised our stretch goal to $15,000 which will allow us to enroll additional dogs in the trial.
Want to know more about the study? Check out our video discussing optogenetic therapy! Thanks to the 60 generous donors we are continuing towards our goal of $10,000! We have raised 72% towards our goal so far but we only have 8 days left! Every donation we get will allow us to enroll more dogs in the clinical trial. We want to cover all costs associated with the study for owners and at this time we only have enough funds to help a few dogs. We are trying to reach 80% by Friday! Any donation, no matter what size, will make a big difference. Spread the word by sharing the website on social media or by email.
Thanks to the 37 amazing donors we are striding fast towards our goal of $10,000! We have raised 45% towards our goal so far but we still have a long way to go. Let's help restore vision in dogs with SARDS! We have so enjoyed visiting with you and hearing about the special pets in your life that you have honored and memorialized. We are trying to reach 50% today and have an anonymous donor that will match the first 5 donations up to $100. Any donation, no matter what size, will make a big difference. Spread the word by sharing the website on social media or by email. Let's put a crowd into crowdfunding!
